I waited a few days before writing this review as I needed to adjust from my old magnifying lighted mirror to this one. My old one had about 3 x mag on one side and about 5x on the other. This mirror has one side with no mag and the other with 7x which is a lot! I have my mirror on my vanity which also has a small light so lighting is perfect for me. Moving the mirror closer on the no mag side works well for general makeup and switching to the 7 x for eyes and brows. I move it quite close for that and everything comes in clearly (way too much reality!). Very nicely made and beautiful color. Nice weight makes it very stable. Cord is clear a nice touch. Height is perfect for me when seated at my vanity. Mirror tips up or down in the frame to adjust for height. If you want "in between" magnification you may not want this for the reasons stated above. I have adapted and am very happy with it!

BalasHapusGreat mirror! Perfect for makeup application, and the magnified side is great for eyebrows. Light works perfectly, bright enough to only have the blinds open in the morning light.
BalasHapusI had LASIK surgery and realized I could no longer see my old lady chin hairs without magnification. I got this mirror, and now I am free of those random hairs! Yay! This works great and the price was right. One extra nice feature which wasn't obvious in the description is that the base has a place to plug in something (a shaver, etc.), so if you are short an outlet, you don't lose one with this mirror. I guess someone complained about it not being bright enough... I have not had any problem at all.
BalasHapusDon't know how I got along without this mirror before. Perfect for applying eye makeup and tweezing eyebrows. Love the lighted feature and the magnification on one side to help see close up.

BalasHapusWell, I love this mirror, the light, the form and the color. I just love it. The only reason I have to return this is that I want to put it in my bookcase but it is too tall to fit in. The description said it is 8 inch tall, but actually it is more than 16 inch tall. 8 inch is just the mirror part, not include the support stick. So, hope this is helpful.
