LOreal Paris Naturale Mineral Foundation

I have used foundation off and on over the years and found that no matter what I do, the liquid and cream powders all make me feel like my pores are crying out for help - kinda like being in a very humid environment. My skin can't stand them, and will break out. The powder foundation I've tried in the past didn't really work well as foundation. I tried samples of the big name mineral foundation and found that I didn't like it either.

I came across these and bought two. There was no one exact match for my skin, so one (the Cocoa) is slightly too dark, and the other is slightly too light. If I've been spending lots of time in the sun, the Cocoa works on it's own. After a long winter out of the sun, the lighter shade works. Mixing the two is no problem - I tap a bit of both into one of the covers and use one of the brushes. A little goes a long way, and I can layer it in, or just soften any imperfections. My skin doesn't feel like it's suffocating, and I can wear it all day without irritation.

You can still spot-hide blemishes by using a smaller brush and dabbing directly on the spot. The included brush built into the container is really meant for just overall coverage.

  1. My skin is very sensitive(kind of dry). I just bought this powder from Loreal Paris called bare naturale (a gentle mineral makeup) but it's kind of cakey and makes my skin break out. What's a better powder foundation for my skin? And I am not that wealthy so a cheap one??! Thanks to all who help! =]

  5. Currently I am using Loreal Paris Bare Naturale. It is a mineral makeup, however whenever I apply it, it looks too caked on and I only use a little bit. I think it is time to switch. The color I am using now is natural beige. My face is really red, and I have some acne problems (a couple of zits here and there). I have one or two acne scars, and my pores on my nose is a HUGE PROBLEM!!! Based on what I said can you recommend me a decent, fairly priced foundation and or cover up that is light weight, looks classy, and can help my problems. Do you have any other beauty tricks that can help my problems? Thanks
